About Me

Meghan Sack is a city and regional planner, strategist, fundraiser, and writer whose work sits at the intersection of people, place, and purpose. Through MS Advisory, she helps mission-driven organizations and communities turn ideas into thoughtful plans, stronger partnerships, and sustainable sources of support.

Meghan brings an interdisciplinary background spanning urban planning, nonprofit development, community engagement, research, communications, and the arts and cultural sector. Her experience includes securing and managing funding for transportation, greenways, trails, neighborhood improvement, and public-space initiatives; developing philanthropic and sponsorship strategies; leading research and stakeholder engagement; and translating complex ideas into compelling proposals, publications, and public-facing communications.

She holds a Master of Science in City & Regional Planning from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Joseph’s University. Her planning work is grounded in a belief that strong communities are built not only through good policy and design, but through relationships, stewardship, storytelling, and meaningful investment.

Meghan is also the founder and editor of Res Publica, a writing project exploring cities, civic life, culture, public space, and the ways communities shape the places they call home.

Based in Philadelphia, she is particularly interested in the intersection of urbanism, historic preservation, horticulture, public space, philanthropy, and community development—and in helping organizations connect their ambitions with the people, resources, and strategies needed to bring them to life.
